During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the Vancouver team stood up to the challange in late August 2005 assisting the citizens of St. Bernard Parish .

Closer to home, the mud slide in North Vancouver District serves as another example where the Team's abilities complemented with the efforts of other rescue agencies. In the midst of the debris field our Search group with their dogs located the only victim.
